COMPOSITE CEMENT CEM V/A (S-P) 32,5 R
Slag cement, which performs high strength against chemical attacks thanks to its structure, has a low heat of hydration and is known to be more resistant than CEM I type portland cement in the long term, can be used in dams, harbours, treatment plants, irrigation canals, bridges and many other projects and is preferred more and more thanks to its economic quality. Moreover, this product which requires less use of clinker is a type of cement which has minimum impact on the environment in today's conditions. Slag cement reduces concrete costs and increases strength. Concrete which contains granulated blast furnace slag cement is less permeable, has lower hydration, higher operability and workability, higher strength and higher resistance against harmful attacks in many forms when compared to normal concrete. While type CEM III/A product contains slag at the rate of 36-65%, type CEM III/B product contains slag at the rate of 66-80%.
Areas of Use
In construction of bridges, roads, tunnels, dams and geothermal plants, In construction of duct and sewage systems, underground water pipes, In concrete to be used in construction of agricultural depots and silos, In mass concrete, In marina structures, seawalls and river-mouth road crossings, In briquette, flooring, slab (concrete piece), mass molding works, In construction of harbours, wave breakers and docks and underwater concrete, For concretes in which alkali silica reactions are to be minimized,
To substitute asphalt in highway constructions.
It is generally used in dams, plaster and masonry mortar, flumes, treatment plants, mass concrete casting, paving concrete and production of building chemicals.
