Granulated Blast Furnace Slag

Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) is one of the waste material groups obtained from various metallurgy plants. In production of raw iron, blast furnace slag remains above raw iron due to having less weight and iron ore gangue is composed at a temperature between 1,400 to 1,600 °C after burning of coke and limestone. It is used as an additive component in ready-mix concrete, in production of type CEM III Slag cement or other types of blended cement. It is produced in conformity with the standard TS EN 15167-1.

The Seller sends a proforma invoice and the shape of the L/C (if needed) and the Buyer opens the L/C from his bank within 48 hours through a well known world bank. Once the documents are received at the specified bank, we then start the procedure of preparing the goods and the documents.

Generally the product can be used in all places where portland cement is applicable. Hydration temperature is relatively lower than portland cement . It is appropriate to use in concrete works performed in aggresive areas where the content (s) of sulphate and/or chloride ion(s) is(are) high.

We are selling on monthly basis 12.500 mt, 25.000 mt and 50.000 mt , selling directly from factories productions. Because, no yearly contracts, the Buyer can buy again quantity he needs, month by month, with most simple payment  terms.





If the Buyer   can find  better  freight  rates by  his own, he  is  free to  do that  and  buy  here  cement  on  FOB  basis with obligation that  must be  transport   from our  Shipper.
On  FOB  Price we  add  transport cost and get CFR  price .Transport  cost  for Algeria  and  Libya   are  range 15-18 USD,  for  West  Africa  are  35-45 USD.

To can start  Procedure, we  need  or LOI  or  full details  about  the Buyer  and official  request with  exact  destination.
We  prefer  one  trial shipment , after  that we make decision  about yearly  contract. Yearly  contracts will be  reviewed  each  three  months  and  price  harmonized to  actual price in the  factory.







PROCEDURE

1. The seller sends a FCO on basis LOI, Buyer signs/seals and sends it back.
2. The seller issues the Draft Contract.
3. Buyer signs/seals the DC and sends it back.
4. Within 48 hours, The seller sends the Final Contract stated herein the origin and port of loading.
5. Buyer and The seller will sign the FC digitally, or at The seller’s office in Turkey or at a place to be mutually determined.
6. The payment instrument has to be issued within 10 calendar days after the signed final contract, confirmed by a TOP 50 world prime bank acceptable to The seller’s bank.
7. The initial shipment of product loads within 30-40 days from the date of receipt of the financial instrument required by the Final Contract.
8. Bank contact is permitted.

• Packaging in 50 kg Kraft Brown Paper 3 ply 72 G.S.M. or PP (polypropylene) Outer Laminated Bags, all wet proofed for ocean freight/shipping.

Granulated Blast Furnace Slag

Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) is one of the waste material groups obtained from various metallurgy plants. In production of raw iron, blast furnace slag remains above raw iron due to having less weight and iron ore gangue is composed at a temperature between 1,400 to 1,600 °C after burning of coke and limestone. It is used as an additive component in ready-mix concrete, in production of type CEM III Slag cement or other types of blended cement. It is produced in conformity with the standard TS EN 15167-1.

Product Definition

Type G cement is a product obtained as Portland cement clinker is ground with one or more types of calcium sulphate as retarder. It is primarily comprised of hydraulic calcium silicates. In the production of Type G well cement, no additives should be used other than clinker and calcium sulphate. This type of cement is mainly intended for well cement. Well cement has types such as medium sulphate resistance (MSR) and high sulphate resistance.
